Dear Scandis and Scanfans,

The traditional Fettisdagen is coming up and we invite you to celebrate this with us! Although the actual Fettisdagen holiday has been a few weeks ago, we do not want to miss the chance to mark this day with you!!
In the Nordic countries, fettisdagen (Fastelavn / Laskiainen) is celebrated by dressing up in carnival costumes and eating a traditional semla/fastelavnsbolle/fastlagsbulle/laskiaispulla. This fettisdagen we will be enjoying some delicious semlor (catered by Pet Gât) in great company at the Warrington Room, Harris Manchester College!

The event will start at 7 PM on Thursday, the 5th of March. Tickets should be bought in advance on our website and will include a semla and hot drinks.
