Dear Scandis and Scanfans,

The New ScanSoc Committee was elected at this year’s AGM, and The Old Committee has now officially handed the torch. To mark this occasion, we are excited to welcome you to the Handover Sittning!

During this event, we will salute our dear old committee farewell and introduce ourselves! A Scandinavian 3-course dinner (prepared by the New Committee!), drinks, plenty of songs, games, and great toasts by our hand-picked toastmasters will be served at St. Giles’ Church Hall at 7:30 PM on Saturday, the 28th of February. Tickets are only £17/£20 (member/non-member) for a night of great company, homemade food and a lot of beer, wine and snaps!

The Theme this year is the Winter Olympics! We could not miss the chance to join the two things so many Scandis and ScanFans enjoy - sittnings and winter sports!! Put on your best winter sport-themed outfits, grab your songbooks and come for a night to remember!
