FOR The love of Scandinavia

Oxford Scandinavian Society promotes and celebrates the Nordic cultures in all their forms. In addition to the Swedes, Danes, Finns, Norwegians and Icelanders in Oxford, we have a rapidly growing base of non-nordic members, colloquially referred to as ScanFans. The growing interest Oxford students are showing towards Scandinavia and ScanSoc has led to a surge of popularity and ScanSoc being awarded the title of the best Cultural Society in Oxford in 2015 by Ublend.

Our termly socials gather Scandinavian and Scandinavian-minded members of the University to meet each other and enjoy drinks and other events together.

Sittnings 

Our termly Sittnings have brought the unique Scandinavian dinner-party tradition to Oxford with an immense popularity.
